Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is seeking a part-time Dentist to join the team at Bibb Correctional Facility in Brent, Alabama. The role focuses on providing dental care to incarcerated patients within a controlled environment, collaborating with medical staff and security to ensure safe, high-quality treatment.

The dentist will diagnose, treat, and prevent dental disease, develop treatment plans, and educate patients while maintaining accurate records and complying with facility policies.

Qualifications

• DDS or equivalent and active dental license in Alabama.
• Experience in clinical dentistry and correctional settings preferred.
• BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred).
• Current DEA registration and strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and provide preventative dental care.
• Create treatment plans and perform extractions/restorations.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient dental records.
• Collaborate with other medical staff on patient care.
