Job summary

Armor Health is seeking a licensed Dentist to join our team at Blair County Jail in Hollidaysburg, PA. The role focuses on direct dental patient care, including exams, diagnoses and treatment in a correctional healthcare setting.

You will oversee daily clinic operations and participate in health promotion and staff training. Required are a DMD/DDS, active DEA, CPR certification, and proficiency with electronic medical records.

Qualifications

• Current state license as DMD/DDS.
• Current DEA license.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficient with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct dental patient care, including oral examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified population in a correctional healthcare/dental setting.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed oral conditions.
• Manage the daily operations of the dental clinic at the facility.
• Participate and direct health promotion, education and/or prevention programs for inmates and provides in-service training for health staff members.
