Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
• Within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree is acceptable for educational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental evaluations and diagnose conditions, and create treatment plans for inmates.
• Provide restorative and preventative treatments and ensure infection control standards are met.
• Lead Dental Assistants and Hygienists, provide training, and review work performance.
• Inspect schedules, records, and documentation to maintain quality and respond to patient concerns.
• Evaluate clinic operations and prepare reports to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain and approve inventory items while ensuring proper security and control.
