Job summary

Armor Health is hiring a Dentist to join our team at Blair County Jail in Hollidaysburg, PA. You will provide direct dental care to inmates, perform exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning, and oversee the daily operations of the dental clinic.

Responsibilities also include prescribing medications, coordinating care with medical staff, and leading health promotion and prevention programs for inmates, while ensuring compliance with correctional healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Current state license as DMD/DDS.
• Current DEA license.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficient with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance (background check and drug screen).

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct dental patient care, including oral examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified population in a correctional healthcare/dental setting
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed oral conditions
• Manage the daily operations of the dental clinic at the facility
• Participate and direct health promotion, education and/or prevention programs for inmates and provides in-service training for health staff members

Qualifications
