Qualifications

• Completion of a one or two-year dental assistant program at a vocational school or community college.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Active BLS CPR certification and radiology certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist the Dentist with care.
• Maintain patient records, ensure sterilization and cleanliness of the dental suite.
• Coordinate services, schedule appointments, and support administrative tasks.
• Explain procedures to patients and assist with radiography as needed.
