Job summary

Staff Today Inc. in Capron, VA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) in a correctional healthcare setting. The CNA will assist with ADLs, mobility, vitals, meals, and ensure patient safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Current VA license/certification in good standing is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• N95 fit test and TB test or immunization records may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and ambulation; observe changes in condition.
• Measure and record vital signs and report to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration and feeding as needed.
• Maintain patient safety, dignity and privacy; follow infection control procedures.
