Wellpath / Correct Care Solutions is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for night shifts in a correctional healthcare setting. You will provide essential nursing support under licensed nurses, performing ADL assistance, vital sign checks and accurate charting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Nursing Assistant training course required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse, including assistance with ADLs and vital sign measurement.
• Maintains professional behavior and prioritizes work flow while promoting patient safety and confidentiality.
• Collaborates with health care team and correctional officers to plan and implement patient care activities.
• Uses medical supplies appropriately and ensures proper storage and cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervising nurse and participates in orientation of new staff.
