Job summary

CorrHealth is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Aide to support patient care under the supervision of RNs/LPNs in a correctional facility, assisting with assessment, planning, and evaluation of care and helping patients with ADLs.

Schedule: Thurs-Sat 6:00a-4:00p (30 hrs/week). Responsibilities include taking vital signs, charting, transfers, ambulation, supply management, and administering medications.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the applicable state.
• 1+ year clinical experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess vital signs, transfer, and ambulate patients under supervision.
• Consult with RNs and staff as appropriate.
• Administer medications per policy and maintain supply levels.
• Chart vitals and intake/output on flow sheets.
• Adhere to safety and HIPAA requirements.
