Job summary

NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in Winslow, AZ to join the Arizona Department of Corrections team. The CMA will assist physicians, take histories, record vital signs, and support administrative tasks in a correctional setting.

New grads are encouraged to apply; competitive pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00/hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time roles. The position offers full-time and part-time options in a controlled environment where patient care is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Certification as Certified Medical Assistant in AZ (AZ CMA).
• Active BLS CPR (AHA) certification.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Clinical duties: perform patient assessments, take history, vital signs, assist examinations, administer medications under physician direction, provide basic wound care and education.
• Administrative duties: schedule patient appointments, manage supplies, answer calls and emails, maintain records.
