NaphCare, Inc. is hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our medical team in Winslow, Arizona, where we serve individuals in the Arizona Department of Corrections. This role involves clinical assessments, diagnosing and treating a range of conditions, prescribing medications, and responding to emergencies in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced nursing education (Master's or Doctorate) required.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Unrestricted NP license in STATE.
• Current DEA registration.
• Collaborative agreement with on-site Physician.
• Active BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred).
• Board certification recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in correctional facilities or acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes.
• Administer medications and provide patient instructions.
• Monitor health, vital signs, and medical histories.
• Provide direct patient care, triage, and coordinate services.
• Respond to medical emergencies and arrange transport as needed.
• Educate patients on prevention and healthy lifestyle.
• Maintain confidential records and document care plans.
• Perform rounds and evaluate patients returning from off-site treatment.
• Admit and discharge patients from the facility.
