NaphCare is hiring a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our medical team at the Wayne County Jail in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves clinical and administrative duties in a controlled correctional setting, with pay ranging from $18.80 to $19.79 per hour and shift-based hours.

Qualifications

• CMA certification from an accredited program.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Be able to obtain BLS CPR certification if required (AHA).
• Office Lab Assistant License (Nevada only).
• Maintain confidentiality of information and adhere to policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and take health histories.
• Document vital signs (BP, temp, weight, EKGs, etc.).
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Provide basic wound care and routine lab tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage medical/office supplies.
