NaphCare is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team of medical professionals in the Wayne County Jail in Detroit, Michigan.
As a Correctional CMA, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to individuals in residence. You will assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with examinations, take patient histories, record vital signs, and support administrative tasks. This unique position means you can make a difference to a diverse population with complex medical needs.
Must pass the facility's criminal background check. New grads are encouraged to apply; we will train you in correctional healthcare.

Requirements / Qualifications:Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks such as CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
