Qualifications

• Must hold CMA or RMA certification or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational, communication and patient care skills.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and screen patients; collect clinical information for providers.
• Assist physicians, nurses and providers with exams, treatments and minor procedures.
• Implement provider orders and support patient care activities within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation and medical unit inventory.
• Clean, sterilize and maintain equipment and instruments; assist as needed with first aid and basic education.
