NaphCare, Inc. is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join the Washington County Jail team in Hillsboro, Oregon. The CMA will work with correctional staff to provide healthcare to residents, supporting physicians, taking histories, vital signs, and performing administrative tasks in a controlled environment.

• CMA Certification from an accredited medical assisting program is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Be able to obtain BLS CPR certification (AHA) if required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient assessments and document health problems and medication history.
• Take and document vital signs (BP, temperature, weight, etc.) and basic lab tests.
• Administer medications under physician direction.
• Provide basic wound care and routine clinical tasks.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility and examinations; educate patients.
