Job summary

NaphCare is partnering with Everhealth to hire a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Administrative Assistant (AA) for the Henderson Detention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Pay ranges from $19.00-$20.00 per hour.

You will work with correctional officers and healthcare professionals to provide care in a secure environment with duties spanning clinical and administrative tasks. New grads are encouraged to apply; training is provided in correctional healthcare.

Qualifications

• CMA Certification from an accredited medical assisting program
• High school diploma or GED
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) obtainable
• Office Lab Assistant license (Nevada only)
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to facility policies
• Pass background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform routine blood draws and document vital signs
• Assist with examinations and patient history data
• Support administrative tasks and medical records handling
• Coordinate scheduling and meetings; prepare monthly reports and data
