State of Indiana is seeking a Correctional Caseworker at Miami Correctional Facility in Indiana. The role focuses on coordinating case management, counseling offenders, and guiding them toward available programs and services within a high‑security setting.

Salary begins around $42,900 and may vary with education and experience. Eligible staff receive a $20 shift bonus when performing federal detention duties, plus a competitive benefits package.

Qualificações

• Must obtain Indiana Risk Assessment System Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must test negative on all drug screenings.
• Must complete mandatory training including DOC Training Program, Case management training, First Aid and CPR.

Responsabilidades

• Provide guidance to offenders on job assignments, housing changes, transfers, and facility procedures.
• Liaise with employers, courts, community and agencies for job development and release adjustment.
• Assess offenders' risk/needs using IRAS and create individualized case plans.
• Document interactions and track program participation and progress.
• Coordinate with staff on re-entry and release issues and prepare related reports.
