Job summary

Armor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver holistic nursing care in a correctional setting, performing assessments and documenting health histories on admission. You will collaborate with physicians and health care teams to implement orders and develop care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.

Applicants must hold an active RN license and CPR certification, with EMR proficiency and successful completion of a Level 2 background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients and document assessments on admission.
• Communicate triage decisions to the appropriate health care provider during custody and discharge.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans in consultation with health care providers.
• Administer medications and support nutrition and therapeutic diets as prescribed.
