Job summary

Quality Correctional Care is seeking a licensed RN or LPN to join our prison health team in South Bend, Indiana. The role provides comprehensive nursing care to inmates, administers medications, conducts intake screenings, and responds to medical emergencies.

You will work 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., three days per week, with weekend rotation, in a secure jail setting. Candidates must hold Indiana RN or LPN licensure and CPR certification, and be able to stand, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN licensure in Indiana
• CPR certification required
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a correctional setting

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver comprehensive healthcare to patients.
• Administer medications and perform medical intakes.
• Respond to sick calls and coordinate with medical providers.
• Change dressings and perform 14-day physicals as needed.
• Manage chronic conditions and patient education.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-saving measures.
