Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction in Salisbury, NC seeks a Correctional Admissions Technician (S) to manage intake, initial assessment, and record-keeping for newly sentenced individuals entering the state prison system.

Reporting to the Correctional Senior Case Analyst, you will perform data entry, case review, and orientation, ensuring accurate records and compliance with facility procedures at Piedmont Correctional Institution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year of correctional or human services experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Intake and data entry for new admissions.
• Enter data into DAC systems and maintain records.
• Perform case review and analysis of new inmates.
• Explain prison policies and terms of sentences to new arrivals.
• Maintain accurate record management and confidentiality.
