Job summary

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is seeking a dedicated health care assistant to support the Unit Medication Room operations. You will distribute medications from filled prescriptions to clients and help maintain accurate medication handling procedures.

The role requires either EMT-Paramedic certification or completion of a certified medication aide training course with a state exam passage, plus a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Job description

This position assists in the overall operation of the Unit Medication Room and distributes clients medications from filled prescriptions.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent and Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) with current credential from the Texas Department of State Health Services, OR Successful completion of a certified medication aide training course and passage of State exam.
