Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Post Dalby Unit is hiring a Corr Medication Aide to distribute inmates’ medications and maintain drug rooms. The role requires EMT-P credential or completion of a medication aide training course with a state exam, and experience with electronic medical records or corrections settings.

Pay ranges hourly from minimum to maximum; work location is the Post Dalby Unit with day shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EMT-P with valid Texas DSHS credential or completion of a certified medication aide training course and state exam passed.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and documents inmates’ medications.
• Ensures drug room security and upkeep of drug room and equipment.
• Adheres to NCCHC, TTUHSC, and TDCJ policies and procedures.
