Job summary

American Institute of Architects Minnesota in Minneapolis is seeking a Senior Interior Designer for the Corporate Workplace to join a nationally established firm. This leadership-focused role offers advancement to Associate Principal/Principal, collaborating with studio leadership to shape strategy, client relationships, and growth.

You’ll lead design across medium to large corporate projects, develop new business, mentor staff, and help expand the Corporate Workplace practice within the Twin

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Experience with corporate workplace and commercial interiors.
• Leadership experience within an architecture or interior design firm.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• NCIDQ certification.
• CID/LEED/WELL credentials are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with studio leadership to guide the Corporate Workplace practice.
• Establish design vision and lead execution across workplace interior projects.
• Lead medium to large-scale corporate office engagements.
• Develop and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Participate in marketing, business development, and presentations.
• Help identify and capture new business opportunities.
• Lead programming, space planning, design development and project delivery.
• Shape long-term strategy, growth and market position of the studio.
