Job summary

Exos is seeking a Performance Coach for our corporate wellness center to lead group classes, assess clients, and design personalized fitness plans. The role emphasizes safety, motivation, and high engagement across a diverse client base.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field, a nationally accredited trainer certification, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. Minimum 1+ year of experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Nationally accredited Personal Trainer certification (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE) required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong customer service and relationship-building.
• Minimum of 1+ year of industry experience; internship considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalized exercise plans.
• Provide one-on-one consultations and motivation for client progress.
• Assist with incentive programs, health promotion, and specialty initiatives to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
• Support additional duties to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
