Job summary

OhioHealth seeks an Exercise Physiologist to support corporate fitness centers. The role evaluates functional ability, develops and revises treatment plans, and supervises patient exercise programs.

The candidate will teach clients, coordinate with medical staff, and document progress across program components. Responsibilities include conducting fitness assessments, guiding strength and cardio sessions, creating home exercise plans, and ensuring safety and confidentiality in a busy corporate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physiology is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates client's physical functional ability and revises treatment plans.
• Treats and supervises treatment, teaches client and family, documents progress with medical staff.
• Performs fitness assessments including VO2, body composition, flexibility, strength and endurance.
• Leads participants and staff in strength training and cardio activities.
• Develops exercise plans based on assessment data and patient preferences.
• Reviews and updates exercise prescriptions with clinical staff for specialty programs.
• Presents educational sessions to improve knowledge in physical activity and behavioral change.
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, equipment upkeep, and confidentiality.
