New York Life Insurance Co. is seeking a Corporate Vice President, Planning and Solutions Consultant Manager to lead a team focused on planning-led growth and expanding integrated insurance and wealth solutions in NY.

The role blends coaching with direct field engagement to drive advisor productivity and client engagement. You will guide consultants, partner with agents and leaders, and ensure consistent execution across territories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7–10+ years in sales, financial planning, or field leadership within financial services.
• Experience leading and coaching a team in a sales or distribution organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, insurance, and investment solutions.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 or 65; CFP® or ChFC® designation.
• Active Life and Health insurance license.
• Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Planning and Solutions Consultants.
• Drive measurable growth in assets and planning adoption across products.
• Support Focus Agents and newer advisors to establish planning-led practices.
• Provide expertise in holistic planning and integrated solutions.
• Lead field training, presentations, and client engagements.
• Build cross-functional partnerships across leadership and product teams.
• Monitor activity and outcomes with disciplined reporting.
