The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in treasury and corporate accounting, strong Excel skills, and experience with online banking and intercompany activity. Office-based in San Mateo, CA.

The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented treasury operations and corporate accounting manager. This is a hands-on role for someone who values accuracy, confidentiality, and follow-through. The ideal candidate will work closely with finance leaders to assist with daily treasury workflows, monthly accounting closes, payroll processing support, and administrative budget management.

What You'll Do

Treasury & Cash Management

• Initiate and/or approve wire payments in various banking systems ensuring proper data entry, include verbally confirm wire instructions with third-party vendors/recipients.
• Update and maintain weekly cash flow schedules, monitor cash balances, process daily/routine fund transfers, and handle daily cash uploads.
• Monitor Positive Pay exceptions and assist with cash management inquiries and stop payments.
• Assist with quarterly cash review meeting preparations and cash management oversight.
• Open/close bank accounts across various financial institutions, manage banking system user access, and manage bank account master data in accounting systems.
• Act as a primary point of contact for routine bank inquiries.

Corporate Accounting & Related Support

• Review intercompany accounts, including preparing monthly intercompany schedules, coordinating repayment with controllers, and processing repayments in banking and accounting systems.
• Prepare, record, and review routine and complex journal entries relating to bank fees, payroll, month-end accruals, allocations, and intercompany accounts.
• Support bi-monthly payroll cycle, including preparation of CSV uploads, TriNet & Fidelity fund transfers, payroll analysis reviews, and booking related accounting entries.
• Prepare and run monthly/quarterly corporate accounting allocations (including quarterly Yardi allocations, regional admin allocations, and other expense allocations).
• Perform monthly P&L activity reviews, request reclassifications as needed, and prepare quarterly admin accruals for SteelWave financial reporting.
• Perform timely and accurate monthly bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and send administrative invoices and monitor receipt of payment.
• Support Accounts Payable processes, including Payscan approvals, employee expense review, and serve as backup for weekly check/ACH payment runs.
• Assist with annual administrative and property management team salary budget preparation, review, and Yardi system uploads.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in treasury and corporate accounting.
• Proven experience navigating online banking platforms and handling cash management functions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage competing deadlines independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve transactional discrepancies, complex reclassifications, and banking issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication with a service-oriented approach when working with internal teams and external vendors.
• High degree of discretion when handling sensitive financial and payroll data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfortable learning and adapting to new systems.

Office-based role; primarily seated computer work with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs. Extended hours may be required during peak periods. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
