Sperton Global AS is representing a reputable Cleveland law firm seeking an experienced Corporate Legal Assistant to support its Business and Corporate Law practice in Cleveland, Ohio.

In this role you will work closely with attorneys on corporate transactions, formations, and M&A matters, gaining exposure to the transactional process and maintaining organized corporate records to move matters forward.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Legal Assistant or Corporate Legal Assistant.
• Experience supporting corporate or transactional attorneys.
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, revise, and proofread contracts and transaction documents.
• Assist attorneys with mergers and acquisitions and corporate filings.
• Coordinate transaction closings and closing checklists.
• Maintain organized corporate records and closing binders.
• Manage attorney calendars and time entries; track deadlines.
