  • Ability to work independently and in a team with collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Proficient with LexisNexis.
  • Licensed in PA and a J.D. from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

  • Support mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, and other transactional matters, including due diligence and closing documentation.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on corporate and business law issues.
  • Assist with contract drafting, review, and negotiation across industries.
  • Participate in client meetings under supervision of senior attorneys.
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing entries in accordance with firm policies.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to support client needs.
  • Interface with clients and opposing counsel professionally.
  • Build relationships with existing clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
  • Work within a team and support peer associates.

Job description

The duties of the position include, however, are not limited to the following:

Work within a team and support peer associates

Requirements

Licensed in PA and a J.D. from an accredited law school
