Qualifications

• CPA or JD required and strong accounting knowledge.
• Eight (8)+ years’ experience in federal tax compliance and consulting in a professional services firm.
• Ability to lead and supervise others and mentor associates.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting to midmarket and large corporate clients.
• Lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters with various clients.
• Consult on technical matters in corporate and flow-through taxation, ASC 740, and accounting methods.
• Research tax matters and respond to IRS inquiries with recommendations to clients.
• Coordinate with specialty tax practices on state/local, international, credits and incentives matters.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing, and ensure client profitability targets are met.
