DoubleVerify Inc. in New York City is seeking a Sr. Corporate Systems Engineer to manage Google Workspace and Slack for 300–400 users and 100 applications, including AV and MDM. You will build integrations, ship Slack bots and workflows, and provide backend support for end-user automation.

You’ll work closely with the NYC HQ leadership team, applying strong risk-aware changes, and delivering reliable collaboration infrastructure across the company.

About the Role

Role Overview: This is a platform-ownership seat, not a support-ticket seat. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate IT in our NYC Global HQ, the Sr. Corporate Systems Engineer owns end-to-end administration and governance of DoubleVerify's core collaboration stack — Google Workspace and Slack — across roughly 300–400 users and ~100 applications, for a C-suite-heavy headquarters (our CEO, COO, and CFO are in-office regularly). Beyond the collaboration stack, this role also covers conference room AV, MDM/endpoint management, ticketing/ITSM automation, and white-glove technical support for our NYC HQ leadership team (our CEO, COO, and CFO are in-office regularly). We’re looking for someone technical, curious, and comfortable figuring things out — not someone who has already done every single thing on this list at another company.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace and Slack — guest access, security and compliance settings, groups, org units, and rules — with sound day-to-day fluency across both platforms.
• Build integrations connecting Slack and Google Workspace to other internal systems, using APIs, webhooks, and app frameworks.
• Design, build, and ship Slack bots and workflows — including AI-powered bots (e.g., LLM-backed automation, smart triage, intelligent routing) — that solve real problems for end users, not just configure existing apps.
• Provide backend engineering support for end-user-facing automations, with genuine insight into what’s happening underneath the hood.
• Exercise sound risk judgment before making changes to groups, org units, and permission rules that affect access or security — thinking through blast radius, testing, and rollback.
• Own conference room AV and collaboration technology across the NYC HQ footprint (Crestron, Neat, Zoom Rooms, WebEx, Logitech, DisplayLink) — from hardware rollouts through day-to-day reliability.
• Manage MDM/endpoint administration across ~100 applications and 300–400 users, using tools such as Jamf and Workspace ONE.
• Own the Corporate Systems ticketing queue — triaging, prioritizing, and resolving within SLA, and building automations that measurably reduce recurring ticket volume or support time.
• Provide direct, white-glove technical support to C-level executives and leadership.
• Build and maintain internal documentation — SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and self-service resources.

About You

You’ll bring solid, real-world Google Workspace and Slack administration experience — but what we’re really looking for is someone who can go further: build integrations, ship Slack bots and workflows (including AI-powered ones), and provide the backend engineering support that makes end-user automation possible. You’ll also exercise good judgment on risk when making changes to groups, org units, and permission rules that affect access and security across the company.

Required Experience & Skills

• Solid, hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and Slack — you don’t need to have been the sole owner of the entire platform at a prior company, but you should be comfortable and fluent with day-to-day admin work (delegation, security settings, groups and rules).
• Real experience building something on top of Slack and/or Google Workspace — an integration, a bot, or an automation — using APIs, webhooks, or app frameworks.
• Comfort with, or strong interest and some hands-on exposure to, AI-powered bots or automation (e.g., an LLM-backed Slack bot, automated triage, smart routing).
• Sound judgment for assessing risk before making changes to groups, org units, or permission rules — you can talk through how you’d think about blast radius and rollback before making a change.
• Experience supporting conference room AV / collaboration hardware (Crestron, Neat, Zoom Rooms, WebEx, Logitech, or similar).
• Experience with MDM/endpoint management tools (Jamf, Workspace ONE, or similar).
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms (Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshservice, or equivalent).
• Comfortable providing direct, white-glove technical support to senior executives and leadership.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS and Windows.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Okta or other identity/SSO experience beyond basic app assignment (provisioning rules, SCIM, group-based access).
• Experience with GAM or Google Admin console scripting for bulk user/group management.
• Experience with enterprise conferencing platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams).
• Experience with IT onboarding processes and hardware logistics.

Benefits & Compensation

This position is full-time and located in our New York City headquarters offices offering a hybrid work model from office and remote. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined by a number of non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role, based on the qualifications set forth in the job description, is between $94,000 $160,000. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, and benefits.
