Job summary

Focus Partners Wealth in New York City offers a paid 10-week internship for students pursuing finance, economics, or business degrees. You will support the Corporate Strategy team with financial analysis, presentations, and market research while gaining exposure to mergers and business development strategies.

Interns work on-site 4-5 days per week, participate in mentorship and executive speaker sessions, and benefit from firmwide networking and performance feedback, with priority consideration

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site at Focus’ New York City office.

Responsibilities

• General corporate strategy support, including financial analysis and presentations.

**Job Description Summary:**Program Dates: June 8 – August 13, 2027 (10 weeks) The 10-week paid internship program is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of corporate strategy, business development, and project management responsibilities. You will support Focus' Corporate Strategy team in diverse, strategic project work which may include M&A and business development strategy, financial analysis, and/or sourcing merger targets. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while working in a dynamic environment. The Focus internship program combines meaningful work experience with onboarding and training, mentorship, executive speaker sessions, firmwide networking, social and community engagement opportunities, formal performance feedback, and priority consideration for a full-time Analyst, Corporate Strategy role based on performance and business needs. The base pay for this role is expected to be $22/hr.
