Job summary

Program Dates: June 8 - August 13, 2027 (10 weeks)

The 10-week paid internship program is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of corporate strategy, business development, and project management responsibilities. You will support Focus' Corporate Strategy team in diverse, strategic project work which may include M&A and business development strategy, financial analysis, and/or sourcing merger targets. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while working in a dynamic environment. Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

• General corporate strategy support, including financial analysis and presentations
• Business development support, including sourcing strategy with wealth and business management firms
• Assist the business development team's outreach efforts through various lead generation channels and deal pipeline management
• Collaborate with team members to review and analyze financial data from prospects, developing financial proposals for merger opportunities
• Participate in market research analysis to refine business development strategies for improved M&A outcomes
• Coordinate meetings and support other team projects as needed

Qualifications

• Current students pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and Spring 2028
• Successfully complete video interview + assessments within 5 days of receiving the link.
• Ability to work and commute out of Focus' New York City office; no relocation assistance provided
• Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
• Demonstrated track record of academic success and/or professional pursuits

This position is a non-exemptposition. The base pay for this role is expected to be $22/hr. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.
