CP Group, a Boca Raton-based real estate and management firm, seeks a Corporate Staff Accountant to manage the full corporate accounting cycle and assist in consolidation efforts. The role reports to Corporate Reporting Manager and interfaces with the CFO on key financial activities.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 2+ years of corporate accounting or consolidation experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRI.

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with corporate accounting or consolidation experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with MRI is preferred.
• Passion for maximizing the use of technology to create efficiencies.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of the full corporate accounting cycle: bank deposits, wires, journal entries, and consolidation.
• Record subsidiary financial activity for consolidation and review monthly consolidation for accuracy.
• Prepare detailed workpapers and monthly balance sheet, P&L, and close workpapers for review.
• Assist with variance analysis and understand complex expense allocations.
• Bill fees to properties and track fee collections, coordinating with Property Management.
• Communicate regularly with Accounting, Property Management, and Corporate teams; drive process improvements.
