Job Overview

Greenwood Hospitality, powered by Hotel Equities, is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant for our Lifestyle Brands. This full-time position involves supervising and coordinating accounting operations for assigned properties, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with various internal and external standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with accounting operations across properties.
• Review and reconcile postings, general ledger accounts, and bank statements.
• Prepare financial statements and reports as needed.
• Lead and guide the hotel Finance/Accounting team, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with government, company, franchise, and ownership standards.
• Monitor internal control procedures in various hotel departments.
• Participate in special projects, training, and meetings; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-hotel accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with M3, Sage, or Peachtree software.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
