Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to obtain GED within 6 months.
• Associates degree OR 2 years honorable military service OR 2 years professional law enforcement experience.
• 1+ years of customer service experience and 1+ years of security experience required.
• Standard computer/technology skills and exceptional customer service are required.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside/outside client premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.

Corporate Security Specialist — Flex — Everett, WA

Wage: $35.51/HR

Schedule: This is a Flex position that strongly prefers 7 days availability.

Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve the community while receiving elite training in safety and security. We are seeking customer service driven individuals for security positions. We have a dedicated Region and Area Management Support Staff which will foster you through your growth and advancement in the company.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written reports.
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Associates degree OR 2 years of honorable military service OR 2 years of professional Law Enforcement experience.
• 1+ years of professional experience in customer service and 1+ years of security experience required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Exceptional customer service experience required.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
