Corporate Security Officer - Graveyard Shift (Project Management)

Metro One Loss Prevention Services Group is a rapidly growing company currently hiring an Unarmed Security Officer. We have a state-of-the-art infrastructure and are looking for a strong Security Officer to work in a retail environment. We are a national security service provider licensed in 47 states.

On the Job, Security Officer Duties:

1. Foot patrol and stand post up to 8 hours per shift
2. Greet customers and employees, provide excellent customer service
3. Follow post orders
4. Monitor CCTV system and accurately document activities in daily reports
5. Observe, survey, and report activity at your assigned location
6. Provide rapid response in critical situations

Qualifications to Succeed at Metro One:

• High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness
• Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm
• Ability to stand for long periods and exhibit physical strength
• Strong observation and detailed reporting skills

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active California Guard Card with 8 hours of powers to arrest training (required)
• 32-hour Guard Card training (preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or security
• Solid work history in the past 6 years, with no more than 3 jobs; supplemental jobs acceptable
• Background screening required
• Security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience is a plus
