You will monitor premises, manage access control, and patrol multiple locations while delivering high-quality customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors. This full-time role offers a Mon–Fri schedule, a wage of $18.36 per hour, and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k), paid time off, and training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and perform access control and patrols.
• Interact with tenants, visitors, and vendors professionally.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure adherence to post orders and complete rounds.
• Provide information and assistance to clients' employees and guests.
• Complete accurate security reports and incident documentation.
• Assist with emergencies and events as needed.
• Utilize security tech devices during shift.
• Conduct property tours and verify building access.

Primary Location: Dubuque, IA

Wage: $18.36/HR

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 6:30 - 2:30

The Corporate Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

This position is the first point of contact for building tenants, visitors, and vendors entering the building and requires a high level of customer service.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the clients' employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Building access control and credential verification.
• Complete accurate reports.
• Assist with emergencies and special events as needed.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
