Job summary

Valcor Security is seeking Corporate Security Officers for a technology client under a government contract in Hawthorne, CA. The post protects personnel, property, access points and sensitive operations.

U.S. military service or prior law-enforcement experience is required by the contract. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with full-time schedules and W-2 employment including paid sick leave and overtime.

Qualifications

• U.S. military veteran (DD214) or prior law-enforcement experience.
• At least 2 years of security experience.
• Active California BSIS Guard Card.
• Ability to pass the contract's background screening.
• Reliable transportation and on-time attendance.

Responsibilities

• Control access and verify employees, visitors and vendors.
• Patrol the site every hour and document each round in the Belfry app.
• Protect confidential information and sensitive areas.
• Respond to incidents by the post orders and emergency procedures.
• Work with site leadership, client management and Valcor operations.

Valcor Security is a veteran-owned security company. We are hiring Corporate Security Officers for a technology client operating under a government contract in Hawthorne. The post protects personnel, property, access points and sensitive operations. U.S. military service or prior law-enforcement experience is required by the contract.

Pay:$20.00 to $21.00 per hour
Schedule:Full-time; day, swing or night shift, with the exact assignment confirmed at interview
Employment:W-2, paid sick leave, overtime paid when worked
