Job summary

Valcor Security, a veteran-owned security company, is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a client property in Los Angeles. The role involves patrolling on a set schedule, controlling access, checking gates and reporting hazards, with pay at $20.00 per hour and a W-2 employment status with paid sick leave and overtime when applicable.

Schedule is Saturday through Tuesday with morning or swing shift, as confirmed at interview.

Qualifications

• Active California BSIS Guard Card is required.
• Reliable transportation and on-time attendance.
• Ability to stand, walk and patrol outdoors in any weather.
• A working smartphone is required.
• Clear spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the property on a set schedule and document every round in our Belfry app.
• Control access and verify residents, employees, visitors and vendors.
• Check gates, doors, lighting and parking, and report hazards.
• Report trespassers and suspicious activity, and respond by the post orders.
• Write clear daily activity and incident reports.
• Keep a professional, alert, visible presence for the full shift.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Saturday through Tuesday; morning or swing shift, confirmed at interview
Employment: W-2, paid sick leave, overtime paid when worked
