Job summary

GMV Spain is seeking a Corporate Security Employee (German Speaker) to coordinate security clearances and develop documentation in compliance with security requirements. You will work within the Security team, collaborating on projects in Germany and supporting PSC and FSC processes.

The role involves executing security procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and adapting to an on-site/hybrid work arrangement with regular on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience in a security-relevant environment.
• Ability to work with government compliance requirements and handle sensitive information with discretion, integrity, and responsibility.
• Excellent command of German (for communication with authorities) and good command of English (for internal communication).
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance and to participate in regular on-call duty outside normal working hours.

What challenge will you be taking on?

You will be part of our Security team, where you will coordinate with projects – particularly in Germany – to facilitate personnel security clearances (PSC) and facility security clearances (FSC). Your role will also include the development, implementation, and management of official documentation in compliance with security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive advice on all matters related to personnel security.
• Planning, approving, conducting, and monitoring activities related to physical security.
• Acting as a deputy for the Security Officer when required and supporting them in their tasks.
• Carrying out security procedures as defined by relevant authorities and company policies.

Qualifications

• Initial professional experience (approx. 1+ years) in a security-relevant environment (e.g., administration, regulatory bodies, compliance).
• Ability to work with government compliance requirements and handle sensitive information with discretion, integrity, and responsibility.
• Excellent command of German (for communication with authorities) and good command of English (for internal communication).
• Familiarity with the German Security Clearance Act (SÜG) is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Knowledge or experience in roles such as Deputy Security Officer, classified document custodian (VS-Verwalter), sabotage protection representative, or PRS contact person is a plus.
• Independent, structured, and reliable way of working.
• Willingness to undergo a security clearance and to participate in regular on‑call duty outside normal working hours.
