Job summary

Crisis24 Group is seeking a dedicated Support Officer to join our executive protection and emergency response framework in Chicago. You will ensure safety of personnel and assets, providing a professional security presence and rapid, discreet response to threats.

Ideal candidates bring EP/ERT PSD or residential security experience, certifications, and a commitment to discretion. This full-time role involves on-site duties with ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in executive protection, emergency response, PSD/ERT, or residential security teams.
• Valid PERC card; this is an unarmed position.
• CA CCW, Exposed Firearm Permit, LEOSA/HR 218 or CCW valid in all 50 states.
• Completion of a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT) may be required.
• Background investigation and random drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Executive Protection & Presence for executives and staff with professional customer service.
• Act as first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios.
• Monitor and oversee security systems, locks, cameras and access control.
• Produce detailed incident reports and communicate with GSPS leadership.
• Assist protective agents in field operations, advanced walkthroughs, secure transport and body coverage.
• Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas.
• Follow GSPS emergency protocols prioritizing safety.
• Perform area sweeps and live surveillance monitoring.
• Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management.

YOUR MISSION

As a Support Officer, you will be a critical component of our executive protection and emergency response framework. You will operate with precision and professionalism, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and proprietary information. Your responsibilities include:

• Executive Protection & Presence: Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.


• Threat Response: Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client’s office suite.


• Security Systems Oversight: Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure; locks, cameras, access control systems to ensure operational integrity.


• Incident Reporting: Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.


• Advance & Support Operations: Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.


• Protocol Enforcement: Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.


• Emergency Protocol Execution: Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.


• Area Sweeps & Surveillance: Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.


• Team Integration: Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.

What You Bring

• Experience: Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Protective Security Detail (PSD), or Residential Security Teams (RST)

Certifications & Credentials

• California Emergency Medical Technician License and National Registration


• Valid PERC card; this is an unarmed position


• American Heart Association BLS ProviderORHeartSaver CPR/AED/First Aid Certification


• U.S. Passport & Driver’s License


• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)


• Meet-and-Greet evaluation (dependent on client/location)


• Background Investigation & Random Drug Screening
