PJM Interconnection’s Information Technology Services (ITS) division offers a 24-month rotation program for recent and upcoming college graduates. Participants complete three eight-month rotations across IT infrastructure, application development, data analytics, and business technology solutions, with mentoring and structured learning.
Upon completion, participants are placed into a permanent role aligned with their skills and business needs, starting June 2027.
Flexible Work Arrangement: Hybrid Through this 24-month rotation program, participants complete three eight-month rotations across key functions within PJM Interconnection’s Information Technology Services (ITS) division. The program is designed for recent and upcoming college graduates to build a strong foundation in IT infrastructure, application development, data and analytics, and business technology solutions that support PJM’s reliable operation of the electric grid and wholesale electricity markets. Upon completion of the program, participants will be placed into a permanent position at PJM that aligns with their skills, interests, performance, and business needs. This position will start in June 2027.
Complete three eight-month rotations that provide hands-on experience in ITS functions such as application development, technology operations, infrastructure, data and analytics, and business solutions. Participate in structured learning, technical training, and formal mentoring with ITS program leadership, rotational managers, and subject matter experts. Collaborate with cross-functional ITS and business teams to translate business needs into reliable technology solutions and communicate technical information clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences. Receive exposure and support from former Corporate Rotation Program employees, ITS leaders, senior leaders, and executive leaders through rotational assignments, coaching, project work, and roundtable discussions. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, testers, cybersecurity specialists, infrastructure engineers, operations partners, and business subject matter experts to develop, enhance, support, and secure PJM applications and technology solutions. Participants must be able to learn new technologies quickly (e.g. Java, C#, Python and Javascript), contribute as strong team members, and adapt to changing business and operational needs.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security Designed for recent or upcoming college graduates with 0-2 years of related experience in information technology, software development, cybersecurity, data analytics, systems support, infrastructure, or business technology solutions. GPA: 3.0 or higher out of 4.0 scale- 0-5 years of experience GPA: 3.0 or higher out of 4.0 scale Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis Experience using verbal and written communications skills Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint) PJM is not STEM OPT eligible. Preferred: Academic, internship, co-op, research, or project experience in application development, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data analytics, technology operations, infrastructure, or business systems
