Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a senior risk professional to oversee the insurance, self-insurance, and risk transfer programs for a major subsidiary. You will manage broker relationships, policy maintenance, and risk transfer provisions across contracts.

The role requires CPA and/or CPCU/ARM qualifications, a strong GAAP understanding, and proven experience in corporate risk management within a public company. Travel is minimal, and collaboration with Legal and Finance is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting or risk experience in a public company.
• CPA and accounting experience in a public company.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles in a public company.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee insurance, self-insurance, and risk transfer programs.
• Manage insurance placement, retention analyses, and policy administration.
• Review contracts for insurance and risk transfer provisions.
• Develop actuarial loss reserves for workers' compensation, auto liability, and general liability.
• Develop corporate insurance program aligned with company strategy and risk appetite.
• Lead RMIS policies and monthly/ad hoc reporting.
• Manage certificate of insurance tracking for vendors and installers.
