Job summary

Colliers International is seeking an in-house counsel to provide strategic legal support across multiple commercial real estate service lines. You will negotiate contracts, review leases and procurement documents, and advise on risk matters.

The role requires 3–8 years of relevant experience, JD, and active bar admission. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential as you collaborate with colleagues company-wide.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 3–8 years of legal experience, preferably in-house within commercial real estate or related field.
• In-house experience in commercial real estate or professional services preferred but not required.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to provide practical client advice on legal risks.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to multiple business lines and act as a trusted advisor to service line professionals.
• Review internal shared services documents, leases, vendor agreements, and procurement contracts.
• Support senior legal colleagues and leadership with research and special projects as needed.
• Develop positive relationships across Colliers to ensure shared objectives and service levels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
