Job summary

CunninghamLegal, a growing California law firm, seeks a detail-oriented business and real estate attorney to support the head of the Business & Real Estate Department. The role involves legal research, drafting transactional documents, and coordinating with clients and the team to drive transactions forward.

As experience grows, the attorney may independently conduct client appointments and consultations and potentially become the department's future lead attorney.

Qualifications

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• 2–5 years of experience as a business, corporate, and/or real estate transactional attorney, including research, drafting contracts, and client communications.
• Experience with corporate and real estate transactions and related documents.
• Strong communication with clients and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze business formations and governance to advise clients and department head.
• Draft and review operating agreements, bylaws, and other transaction documents.
• Support negotiations, closings, and structuring of corporate transactions and real estate deals.
• Assist with real estate due diligence, title, and related transaction requirements.
• Communicate professionally with clients by phone, video, and in person.
