Responsibilities

• Maintain front desk logs with accurate information.
• Control access for employees, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to safeguard property.
• Provide incident, hourly, maintenance and daily activity reports.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and document data for management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Now hiring Professional Security Officers in San Ramon, CA

$24.00/Hourly

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. Must have active CA State training and Guard Card licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Active Driver's License
• Clean DMV History
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for employees, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Provide detailed incident, hourly, maintenance and daily activity reports
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Marksman Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Professional Security Officers

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid California Security Guard Card
• Exceptional written communication and grammar proficiency
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Professional Security Officers

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Day, evening, overnight, holidays and weekend availability required
