Job summary

The Biltmore Company Police Department is seeking a qualified officer to enforce North Carolina laws, prevent crime, and protect life and property on the Biltmore estate. The role involves vehicle and foot patrols, investigations, and wildlife management on a large property.

Candidates must hold a High School diploma and NC BLET certification, with prior law enforcement and guest service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with NC BLET certification.
• Experience in law enforcement and guest service preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and reporting systems is required.
• First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications must be obtained.
• Must have a valid NC Driver's License and be at least 18.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the Biltmore Company Police Department and enforce North Carolina laws and regulations.
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, investigations, and wildlife management.
• Prepare incident reports and participate in law enforcement trainings.
• Work a rotating schedule including days, evenings, and midnights.
• Coordinate with other law enforcement officials and public officials as required.
