Job summary

Biltmore is hiring a Company Police Officer to patrol, investigate, and enforce laws across the Biltmore estate in North Carolina. The role requires NC BLET certification, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills to engage with guests and staff.

You will work a rotating schedule (days, evenings, midnights) with duties spanning patrols, incident reporting, and inter-agency coordination as needed. Valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have NC BLET certification and minimum high school diploma.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and basic computer data handling.

Responsibilities

• Enforce North Carolina laws and protect life and property for the Biltmore Company Police Department.
• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols, investigations, and wildlife management on property.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate with other law enforcement officials as needed.
• Work rotating shifts including days, evenings and midnights; adhere to reporting requirements.
