Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Partnerships Associate to serve as the face of our Chicago volunteer events.

You will manage all event logistics from start to finish, transporting donations, setting up spaces, and guiding participants through a meaningful experience. This role fits someone who loves community work, can speak confidently to corporate audiences, and thrives in fast-moving environments.

• Transport food donations and event supplies to each event location in Chicago.

• Lead volunteers to delivery location and oversee final handoff of food donations.
• Serve as primary point of contact during the event for volunteers and contacts.

Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Associate

Role Overview

As a Corporate Partnerships Associate, you will be the face of RLC during our corporate volunteer events across Chicago. You will manage all event logistics from start to finish — transporting food donations and supplies, setting up the event space, presenting to volunteer groups, and guiding participants through a seamless and impactful experience. This role is ideal for someone who is energized by community work, thrives in dynamic environments, and is passionate about ending food waste and food insecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport food donations and event supplies to each event location in Chicago.
• Set up the event space and ensure all materials are organized and ready prior to volunteer arrival.
• Lead the opening overview presentation, introducing RLC's mission and the day's agenda to corporate volunteer groups.
• Guide volunteers through all event activities, providing clear instructions and maintaining positive energy throughout.
• Lead volunteers to the delivery location and oversee the final handoff of food donations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact during the event, fielding questions from volunteers and organizational contacts.
• Problem-solve quickly and confidently when unexpected issues arise to keep events running smoothly.
• Represent RLC's values and mission with professionalism and enthusiasm at every event.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for addressing food waste and food insecurity in Chicago.
• Confident and comfortable public speaker; experience presenting to corporate or professional audiences preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet in fast-moving situations.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage logistics independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional — you are the face of RLC at every event.
• Physical ability to transport supplies and be on your feet for the duration of events.
• Availability Monday through Friday during standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Nice to Have

• Experience in event coordination, community outreach, or volunteer management.
• Familiarity with Chicago neighborhoods and transit logistics.
• Background or coursework in food systems, sustainability, or nonprofit work.
