Job summary

Renuity, LLC seeks a Corporate Paralegal to support the General Counsel and management, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, and assisting with dispute resolution.

You will research issues related to the home improvement industry, draft licensing applications and lien filings, and assist with litigation including discovery and arbitrations. Strong organization and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal in a legal setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on home improvement industry issues, including construction law, licensing requirements, and consumer sales.
• Draft and prepare legal documents such as state licensing applications and lien filings.
• Assist in management of litigation and dispute resolution, including response strategy, discovery requests, and arbitrations.
• Assist with routine customer non-payment matters.
• Apply checklists to leases, NDAs, and Certificates of Insurance.
• Maintain accurate records of legal documents and case information, including databases and negotiations progress.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory matters, including state corporate and trade licenses.
